“This is not a story of self-defense against domestic abuse. Whether or not you believe her story of abuse, she had many chances to get out and get away from the situation. Shooting someone in the back of the head while they are sleeping is not self-defense. This is not a story about racism either. It’s a story about a woman who made her own choices and paid the price. The “Blind Plea” she took - was her own fault as well. If you are not smart enough to understand the plea you are taking - maybe don’t commit crimes if you’re not smart enough to navigate the system or have enough money to hire an attorney. This whole podcast is a waste of time. She committed cold blooded murder and didn’t do much time. Sorry I didn’t pay attention to the reviews before I listened!”
