An excellent concept, with less than perfect execution.
The political worls could use a little more of this format: two guys with an obviously genuine freindship presenting opposing takes on issues from their shaply different ideological perspectives. If you're interested in the "inside baseball" aspect of politics, these are your guys. I happen to be even to the left of Bill, but I particularly appreciate the fact that Matt, a principled conservative, doesn't buy into the current Republican orthodoxy. But now the negative: Their delivery could use a little work. Matt makes me crazy sometimes when he starts, and abandons halfway through, several sentences before he finally completes one. And Bill is among that increasing number of hyperintelligent people on the 'net whose brains work about three times faster than their tongues. You don't want to listen to this one at 2X speed; Bill is already there - and then some. If he would just slow down and pronounce each syllable, I'm sure I would really appreciate what he's trying to say in the ten per cent of the time when I have no clue, despite several rewinds. On balance, a flawed, but very worthwhile podcast.Read full review »

Bill and Matt have great chemistry together as they provide political commentary from the opposite side of the isle. Always an enjoyable listen. They are not married to each other, but sometimes it’s hard to know for sure.

But since the party went hard left on social virtue signaling and intersectionality under...Read full review »
