Love
Just finished binge listening to this on my headset in spare moments while raising/homeschooling my four young kids. I am so thankful Brett did this. I so admire the way he did this. It is pure, excellent story telling. Exactly what this topic needs. Ive never had the opportunity to hear a believers whole back story on their gay experience--snippets at best and always without much context. I love that he took the time to explain his context at large, not just a few moments. So much I could relate to as a believer in my 30s. So many questions answered about the gay experience--or maybe answered isnt the right word bc I dont want to limit the gay experience to just one told here...new possibilities and options for questions Ive had no idea how to think of this far. And so many awesome non-gay related observations too! I loved what Brett has to say about community, secrecy, church culture, and love, and so many other little nuggets of real wisdom. I admire the way Brett studies life. I felt even after a few episodes I could trust what he was saying as his story, no agenda. Because this story is told so purely about his experience, there isn't anything to agree or disagree with. It just is. And its worth absorbing. If for no other reason to add that much more grounds for compassion.Read full review »

This is the most honest, vulnerable podcast/monologue I've ever heard. Kudos to Brett for sharing his story and what an impact his story will make on countless people. I highly encourage you journey through all 44 of their episodes as you can easily listen to 3-4 on your commute to work.Read full review »

Everyone should listen to this podcast. What a well scripted story. Having grown up in the church I have seen and heard so much judgement, which is so sad. I believe our mandate is to love, and I hope this will help more people empathize. Great job.
