food-for-thought firehose
Alright, so what makes it stand-out is an absolute absence of blabber. For us there is always an unlimited amount of conf. talks to watch, blogs to read, threat reports to process, and skills to learn that it becomes annoying to listen to 1hr+ long podcast episodes where the actual value is less then 10 mins. Unlike some other podcasts, this one gave me a feeling that the producer respect audience's time. I hope John will continue bringing more episodes of jam-packed real discussion. If anything that can be improved is to deliver one tactical level blue teaming technique in every episode which listener can immediately take back to work and find ways to implement. Like in the episode with Mark, giving a list of Top 10 metrics would've been awesome.Read full review »

More reviews of Blueprint
John Hubbard of SANS, offers a wealth of experience to the podcast and leads interesting conversations with his guests. Mark Orlando is the first guest discussing techniques for modernizing SOC processes. Blueprint is off to a great start. I am looking forward to the next episode.
