Beautiful design makes you forget this story is fiction. Fun to hear a fiction show set elsewhere other than a sci-fi America.

But its just not very good. The music is great. It tries. But its fairly superficial, no depth, no great resolution.

This is a beautifully crafted story with first-class production values. Great voice talent brings to life a fascinating narrative that keeps you binge-listening to the end.

The only thing that kept reminding me that it wasn’t real was that it felt absolutely cinematic.

I just finished episode 9. I loved it and wanted to know what was going to happen next, but at the end it just felt like it abruptly stopped. It ended on the biggest cliffhanger possible. We’re just supposed to accept that the main character wasn’t going to try and uncover what happened?...Read full review »

I felt drawn by the story line, however the readers, or actors, or whoever is verbally covering the context of the show/show - I feel I are quite unconvincing. I just can’t stay connected to the story.. and haven ended up bypassing the new episodes. So will now unfollow.

This show is absolutely beautiful. Even thought it’s just and audio, I can feel the style and aesthetic the crew and cast were going for. The writing is amazing too, the main actors voice is very calming and natural which is hard to find in audio podcasts now a days. I’ve listened to almost every...Read full review »

It’s the first time I listen to a fiction podcast and Blum feels like the perfect first. It’s addictive and really well made. It’s like going on a journey through Switzerland with a touch of mystery.

History, classical music, and art, all wrapped up in a mystery? With a mention of Hildegard of Bingen? I’m in! This is an enjoyable podcast where the narrator unravels what happened to a former roommate who was obsessed with the life of artist Ursula Bloom. Was she a composer? What does her music...Read full review »

If you like following along as a nice mystery is uncovered… then this one is for you! It feels like a bit of magic might be in the mix as well, or at least something a bit outside our realm. The musical and artistic themes are a ton of fun and made this one a particular treat to listen to.

Nothing in the web/podcast/intro description of this show says it’s fiction, but I’m three episodes in and I just can’t believe it’s not fiction. It supposedly contains recordings of actual things happening, but it sounds extremely like actors reading lines, not actual events. It really bothers me.
