How can such an interesting story be so boring?
I'm from the village Greenfield at the heart of this story and have been following this story. After falling in love with Serial and other mystery/murder/ podcasts I was so excited to hear one local to me and my interests. Never have I heard such a dry, boring, scripted, polite uttering of a truly gripping story. I felt like I was reading a police report, where's the drama in this story? Jon's presentation and performance here is so characterless and hard to truly tune in to. He. Seems. Like. He. Speaks. Like. This. Breaking. Up. His. Sentences. With. Pauses. In. Between. Words. I'm pretty disappointed, podcasts are so up and coming and the BBC really needs to take note of what other popular podcasts and their style.Read full review »

Interesting, but more follow up with family would have added something more. Perhaps they did not wish to participate. One cannot help but arrive at the conclusion that the man was involved in something shady in Pakistan.

I read about this story online and I wondered about it. Very nice work yet unsatisfactory, not because of the quality of the program. We just never know why the man killed himself.

This podcast was beautifully done, however for my taste the episodes are way too short. Also, I wanted so much more. I was left with so many questions. Surely his former partner and his mother could have filled in some of the blanks.
