You all are the BEST! LOVED that you had a summer session! I never could have made it a whole summer without you. Especially not with all that’s happened to shift things in such a joyful, hopeful and engaging way in Presidential politics, which, shizzle runs down hill, so that will impact ALL of...Read full review »

I luv listening to you both! It always feels like I’m listening to friends discuss subjects. I sometimes find myself yelling in agreement along with Imani and Jess. I work in abortion care, and appreciate your passion and dedication to keeping us informed.

Love to listen to these ladies breakdown the law. Boom Lawyered, feels like I have two best friends who break down the latest supreme court decision and why it matters in a way that makes sense even if you are not a lawyer. Their enthusiasm is contagious. While, I'm never going to read a 200...Read full review »

I had hoped to get an informed opinion from a more liberal viewpoint. But instead this is garbage jr. high level screaming into the microphone and throwing around insults. The only thing making this not a “Rush Limbaugh of the left” is the lack of moronic sound effects. Loads of fawning and...Read full review »

Y’all. Seriously. I love the content of your podcast. I too am very angry about the overturning of Affirmative Action. But your episode about this was unlistenable. For the love of my ears, please please PLEASE stop SCREAMING INTO THE MIC! If you’re screaming, I get it! Maybe lean back or...Read full review »

This podcast is great. It’s in-depth enough to really get at the heart of this issue and some how they infuse (sometimes dark) humor into such a dark issue during such a dark time. Plus living in Colorado, I love the little bits of local flair thrown in.

The smart, passionate hosts of this podcast break down all the Court goings-on in a way everyone can understand. When I start to freak out about the latest rulings at least I can listen to Imani and Jessica give voice to the same concerns while they educate me and lay out all the implications of...Read full review »

Podcast Court is in session and Awesomeness is presiding. I borrowed six figures to spend four years in night law school and not a single professor, and I did have some excellent ones, did a better job of explaining the nuances of US law and theory than Jess and Imani. But this is no slog through...Read full review »

Every episode makes my brain explode with the legal origami these women create with their words. To connect a case about pork production to the abortion struggle. Very well researched and presented in a fun yet educational way is a gift! It also makes me a little freaked out every episode. We...Read full review »

I found the podcast interesting and the topics thought promoting. The hosts are substantive, though it’s not where I’d go for a balanced debate. I won’t subscribe and listen rarely after checking out Gandy’s twitter page which is essentially her cyber bullying others and I’m not into that scene.
Kmillerca via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/04/19
The two hosts manage to make me laugh multiple times per podcast while simultaneously feeling great anger. As an aging white boomer female can I say how GRATEFUL I am that these two very smart young women have taken on these issues?

Imani Gandy is completely hypocritical and uses her platform to bully others. She doesn’t practice or believe what she preaches. This work undermines the people who really care about reproductive justice.
