The Mets had another incredible win last night to get them into the NLDS. Pete Alonso finally came through in a gigantic way, with a 3-run HR in the 9th to make it 3-2 Mets. People were expecting the Mets season to end in a Pete Alonso season ending double play. His HR is something Disney movies are made of. David Peterson had to close out his first game ever, a playoff game with a 2-run lead. Gio has been shocked by this team, in a good way, time and time again this season. The Mets also now have a playoff pumpkin that Alonso picked with his wife and was part of the celebration last night.
