We took calls from Mets fans and Yankees fans happy for Pete Alonso. Jerry returns for an update but first we went to a caller who couldn’t get to his point. Jerry has Bob Ueker on the call as Pete Alonso hit the 3-run HR. Jerry has audio of Sal Licata from his home in NJ freaking out over the Mets win. Carlos Mendoza talked about Alonso’s season and how people wanted more from him. The Falcons beat the Bucs in OT and we heard Ian Eagle on the call. Kirk Cousins threw for 509 yards and 4 TDs. Karl Anthony Towns met the media and talked about how he’s going to fit in with the Knicks. In the final segment of the hour, we took more calls from happy Mets fans.
