“I love the science books, astronomy for young folk, geology, book of birds, etc.
Each night I use one episode, first time with 15 minutes sleep timer. Subsequent wake ups for 30 minutes, after backing up the episode to about how long I was actually awake. I have chronic pain, and these readings give me something else to focus on, like guided meditations, until I drift off. I'm now a patreon. My girlfriend chuckles when I imitate I Boring Books for Bedtime reading voice.
I would have supported sooner, but after lots of PT and earning a bachelors degree, I just got a job for the first time since 2015!!!
The only episode I absolutely could not listen to was the Halloween episode about the witch trials. That's really scary, incredibly sad how so many REAL people were tortured and killed.”Read full review »

“I’ve a hearing disability and wear aids during the day. For sleep of course I do not. I find some of the episodes from 2020 and earlier are such low volume I cannot raise it enough to actually hear.
