Required listening as a fan of hip hop
So, I’ve been a fan of this podcast since episode 1. I’ve recommended it to friends, strangers and family members. I thought I knew hip hop (and I do) but these ladies, particularly Dr. Bradley, are blowing me away! The amount of research they put into each topic and the entirely new angles from which they approach the subjects make even the most explored idea feel new. Personally, after listening to Study Hall, I feel like I now need to go back to the beginning and really take this podcast in as a student and not just a passive listener. If you love knowledge, learning opportunities, and/or the study of hip hop, this episode will stir something in your soul. Highly recommended. Thank you 🙏🏾

Lee and Bradley seriously know their stuff: history, evolution, politics, culture, and the deep DEEP genius of the music of the dirty South. Already, I’m hooked!...Read full review »
