“I have always been a fan of Chris Mannix' boxing coverage at SI in the years' past, and I am so excited that Chris Mannix, now at Yahoo Sports, is taking on his old trade of boxing journalism in addition to his NBA reporting. Boxing is not covered much in podcasting (there are a few done by fans but the production quality is low), but this one by Chris Mannix is already right on the money. Great interviews and hard-hitting questions by Mannix with some of industry's biggest stakeholders!! I just have a few areas of improvements:
-will be great if Mannix can take a page from the HBO Boxing Podcast in analyzing some of the more technical aspects of both past and future matches.
-Instead of the interview-only format, would love Chris Mannix to give his own "rant" and opinion on the important topics of the day, give predictions to fight....etc.
-to follow up the point above, it will a benefit and a great help if Chris Mannix can have a cohost, so Mannix can play off of this cohost' questions and give himself more room to give opinions. Mannix with his knowledge and strong opinions, should be featured more prominently!
