Description
Our guest is Dr. Nicole Lipman Barile, PhD, Clinical Psychologist and Nutrition Therapy Practitioner with over 10 years of experience working with patients. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and uses her incredible social media platform ‘Feed Your Mental’ to disperse evidence-based information on mental health. What we most love about her is her stance against the exhausting amount of pseudoscience in our shared field of neuroscience and psychology. Not only does she break down the latest evidence into palatable information, but she also points out why some influencers are inclined to share misinformation on social media, and what we can do to identify and avoid them. In this episode, we speak about the role of diet in depression, her work with OCD patients and how to navigate through social media while avoiding pseudoscience.  Follow Dr. Lipman-Barile: IG: @feedyourmental TikTok: @feedyourmental Website: https://www.feedyourmental.com   Join the NEURO Academy: NEUROacademy.com Follow us on social media: Instagram: The Brain Docs @thebraindocs Facebook: The Brain Docs Website: TheBrainDocs.com
