“I'm a little fussy with podcasts. There are several aspects that need to gel together for me to enjoy. I won't lie what pulled me here first was i love horror movies and to hear the great, the only Stephen Fry talk about...... slugs! Brilliant.
I listen to few podcasts that i follow, looking for the new episodes. This has joined the list two. It's great fun. The presenter has so much passion for these films and lets admit, some are damn right silly, if enjoyable to watch. He doesn't shy away from the fact they may be a little cheesey or over the top, but regardless like most of us horror nuts it's what we love about the films. The 80's managed, even at thier worst, some love and passion in the project. Something lacking somewhat these days.
The guests are great and every guest has the same passion as the presenter for these films. I love hearing their take on these films also. This whole show works.
Your lose nothing giving this a go. I have looked and there are many horror Film podcasts out there, many that just lack something, this lacks nothing.
Give this a miss and your miss out on a great show with great conversations about some of the films that may be overlooked elsewhere.
