Hey Melina, I enjoyed hearing your thoughts on New Coke. That was definitely a learning moment for them. I often point to the parallel incident for Ford with the Edsel. Here’s a brand that from design to marketing to naming relied so much on focus groups, that Ford forgot what made them popular. They tried so hard to make a car that everyone would like, that they ended up making a car that no one liked. I see you are in Olympia. I’m in Spokane. It’s nice to hear a podcast from my home state.
