“If you know anything about Brazil, you fall into one of four categories: 1) you're actually in or at least from Brazil; 2) you read a whole lot about it in expensive picture books or magazines; 3) you are completely delusional, believing it to be the place where Santa Claus over-summers (it isn't); or 4) you're listening to Milton and Kinsey on the Brazilianisms podcast, which is what most sensible people should really be doing; when I began listening, I fell mostly into category 3 and category 0 (the category reserved for those who know absolutely nothing about Brazil other than the fact that there are Brazil nuts out there, which is really close to nothing at all when you come to think about it, especially because they probably don't actually call them 'Brazil nuts' there, at least not referring to the fruit which has a hard shell and hard seed, rather than those infamous category 3 people above), and now I have graduated into category 4, with some aspirations to slide gracefully into covering both category 2 and 1 because of the interesting discussions about the culture, language (Portugeuse!), people and, well, the 'everything' associated with Brazil as discussed between Kinsey and his friends as he makes his green-haired way through living there (not that having green hair necessarily makes it a different way than any other colour of hair, unless one considers the unusualness of green hair, which it might not be in Brazil -- this fact has not been revealed to me yet).
In short: it good. You listen. You learn. You laugh.
In shorter: good podcast.
Even shorter: Woo!
And shortest: !
Go ahead, listen: find out about the rest of the world from people who actually live there.

“Kinsey is an American married to a Brazilian and living in Brazil. Each episode he's joined by a Brazilian co-host to discuss all things Brazilian. The show is informal and humorous, but also highly informative and thought-provoking, even for those who have no particular interest in the...”Read full review »
