“Everyone keeps saying, "it's no Serial." If you are a rabid fan of Serial, nothing is ever going to compare for you. I personally think that Breakdown is a better podcast than Serial for the following reasons; the journalism is better, the explanations and examinations of the legal system are more thorough, the host is more professional and pleasant to listen to, and the season is succinct and not as drawn out or mired in conjecture as Serial. Give this podcast credit as being a really good true crime show instead of trying to judge it based on your enjoyment of another show.”Read full review »
