“I’m a Gary Jubelin fan, so I knew this would be great.
Listening to the prisoners stories is really thought provoking. I’ve had a family member in prison and they are scary places. Going to visit him, I felt like a criminal. He did his time and is now back on the rails and back to being an upstanding member of the community. This possibility skews my view on prisoners, but it’s really interesting to hear their stories and how well they are doing at Macquarie. I understand that it’s not going to work for every prisoner, but it’s definitely food for thought on how to reduce crime in the future.”
