“The drug manufacturer in episode 3 Doing Time takes no responsibility for his own actions and has no concept of the impact his drug manufacturing has on the lives of those who go on to take those drugs. Employing 150 people doesn’t make him a good person and excuse his crimes. The struggles that his son is having are his fault, no one else’s. I believe that prisons should work to create better neighbours and enhance community safety and I feel significant compassion for those in prison who are essentially victims themselves. This guy is not one of those people and he is the reason that the community has no compassion for people in prison.”
