“After racing through the first 3 seasons in 5 days building up to the season 4 premier I suddenly found myself suffering major withdrawals now that I only get one episode a week to look forward to.
As a result I decided to look for a decent companion podcast and saw both " breaking bad insider" which features the show editor kelley dixon and creator vince gilligan discussing the process of making the show along with guest appearances from cast and writers and the "breaking good" podcast. Both are excellent in different ways and this podcast works really well as an in-depth breakdown and analysis of each weeks episode.
The structure is very similar to "the lost podcast" With Jay & jack with a recap, analysis, news, listener feedback, predictions and the presenters obviously have a great knowledge of the show and characters. As someone who has become hopelessly addicted to this show it's great to have a show that embraces the social side, opens topics for debate and adds to the shows expanding fan community.
In closing if you are a fan of breaking bad and are looking for a companion podcast to fill the gap between episodes you can't go wrong with this. Along with the insider podcast this will keep you entertained while you wait for Sunday to come around.”Read full review »
