Easton Ellis interviews various show business friends about the state of culture today. As one reviewer put it of his novel American Psycho, he is an "old-school moralist" on many topics — the declining attention-span of young people, the usurpation of movies by TV, the state of America etc. If he wasn't so erudite, articulate, and entertaining, I'd be irritated, but he is, so it's great.
