Just as well Bret is unconcerned by what people think of him, because I have a feeling that his tone would probably rub lots of people up the wrong way. Easton Ellis interviews various show business friends about the state of culture today. As one reviewer put it of his novel American Psycho, he is an "old-school moralist" on many topics — the declining attention-span of young people, the usurpation of movies by TV, the state of America etc. If he wasn't so erudite, articulate, and entertaining, I'd be irritated, but he is, so it's great. We need more strong opinions and confrontational voices in podcasting, and BEE fits the bill.Read full review »
