“Always an excellent podcast with fantastic insight.

My formative years watching Formula 1 came in the late 90s & early 2000s. The sport was rife with bullish manufacturers and team combos at that time, something you’ve noted specifically in some episodes. McLaren and Williams had powerful engines in Mercedes and BMW respectively and a winning pedigree to match, but the likes of Ford, Honda, Toyota and the various teams associated with them (Jaguar, BAR, Jordan) all flattered to deceive. In retrospect, who was at the time the the team and pairing that each of you had a hunch about being the eventual derailment of the Ferrari juggernaut before the Renault/Alonso combination finally managed it in ‘05?
Please paraphrase if too long!
All the best and continue the amazing work,
Patrick Hodgen.”
