My favorite podcast! I ended up buying the subscription just because they deserve it. The amount of time and research they put in is unreal. Great guest as well.

Awesome stuff chaps. So engaging and evocative. Fills in many blanks in my late 1980s and early 1990s knowledge by revealing the context and intrigue behind the action I watched on telly as a kid on. Almost docked you a star for Glenn’s inexplicable adoration of Jacques V, but you deserve a full...Read full review »

This has been a staple of my podcast listening diet since the beginning, and the only one I financially subscribe to (finally!) I love the stories, insights, and retrospects into what is ultimately my most beloved era of F1. Keep up the good work! I have a question: My second year of watching...Read full review »

Someone please, for the love of god, move the mic further away from Gary’s mouth or turn down the mic monitoring sensitivity. Listening to every draw of breath, swallow and him licking his lips is plain disgusting.

I listen to this podcast constantly. Im re-listening to each episode for the 3rd time now. It’s just so good! Thank you to Glen, Edd, Ben, Matt, and the team for the countless hours of research. This podcast is like a “Library of Congress” for F1 history.

Thank you for connecting me with this incredible era of Formula 1 with such passion and detail. I’ve watched all the old races on F1TV but the broadcasts were not as informative back then as they are today. With that said, You’ll learn more about this awesome era of F1 from this podcast than you...Read full review »

A good mix of opinions with in-depth formula one knowledge. I thought I knew all about that period of F1 -but every episode enlightens and informs. This is my go to podcast; I’ve tried many, and the only one I’ve worked through the back catalogue. Toby Le Rone

A great podcast with great inside into the topics. It brings back nostalgia about the best era in F1. My question would be what is in your opinion the dullest race of this era (excluding Indy 05)?

The Race’s team produces the most in depth and insightful F1 content in the world. I am a F1 addict from the US working my way through all of the history and this podcast is a phenomenal, well-researched and invaluable dive into classic F1. Thank you all so much for what you do!

Been really enjoying this podcast for the last 6 months and only in series 5 so plenty left to enjoy. Really appreciate the effort put into each episode. Love the show team, especially the Andrea Moda episode and the Vimeo docco link. Your episode and that show go really well together; the story is more than a struggling backpacker; the passion and stories are so engaging. Thanks again for a great set of podcasts and roll on 2024!

Nothing comes close to the quality of research and headline style discussion as this. Glenn & Co. do a fantastic job, each episode is consistently at the same incredible quality. This podcast goes into great detail about one of my favorite eras of racing. Guys, I’m a fairly late newcomer to the series so playing catch up (almost there now 🤣🤣). I’m absolutely loving hearing the stories & insight from the era I started watching F1. Hopefully there’ll be a Rio 89 episode at some point, also Mansell’s Silverstone wins?

I remember watching F1 as a 7 year old at around the 94/95 Schumacher years. So many things back then didn’t make sense, and this podcast is doing a great job telling the stories from around that time and connecting the dots from stories of that era for me as an adult! Love the show!

I normally don’t give 5 stars because podcast read these out nowadays. They do this to get more ‘range’. In this case I just have to give 5 stars. The knowledge of F1 is very high, but the preparation might be even better. Throw in some British humour and I’ll just have to risk the fact they read...Read full review »

I don’t know why it took me so long to find this podcast but I’m glad I did! I’m working my way through the back catalogue, as a relatively newer fan (since 2020) I love learning about the history of F1 from those that were there.

Love the podcast. I listen to every episode atleast twice. I have a question regarding Jordan. If the Jordan and Prost engine swap in 1998 didn’t happen, could we have seen a different outcome to Jordan’s 1999 season results?

Glenn, I love the show and the regular guests you have on the show. I have a slight concern about Glen’s great admiration for utterly mediocre JV but other than that, whole 5 stars. Q: is it possible to do a more technical episode which focuses more on engines and its developments throughout V10 era? Perhaps with G.Anderson.

I’ve got a question about the team numbers. How did McLaren end up with 7 and 8 from 1993 to 95. I know Brabham vacated those numbers by why did McLaren (presumably) choose 7 and 8 over 5 and 6 which I’d have expected them to swap with Williams? Especially when they’d won a championship with car...Read full review »
