Why do the hosts continually interrupt the flow?
I love the American equivalent (American Scandal) and hoped it would be the same, but with a British focus. One narrator telling the story. Instead, we have two hosts. I have no idea why, as the second host adds nothing. The banter, interrupting the flow of the story every two minutes, is so tedious. Even putting aside the sensitive and serious subject and tone of the content, making jokes inappropriate, they are completely unfunny too. Really banal stuff, completely forced, and completely unnecessary. This could be so significantly improved by dropping the superfluous host. Have them rotate each mini-series if needed but just get rid of the banter and jokes.

The subject matter is extremely interesting and the story reeling part is well done. However the hosts interject CONSTANTLY with jarring light hearted banter that seems extremely out of place and takes me out of the story. It’s also very annoying.

You wouldn’t think it needs to be noted - talking on the pain and suffering of others in...Read full review »
