Just, wow!
If your 1st PodCast is with Eminem, I think you’re going to do alright! :) Ok, but seriously, I have been an Em/Shady/Marshall fan since the 1st time I heard, “My Name Is”. I was born in August 1973, in a trailer, in West Virginia. Watched my dad die at 8, mom was crazy af. I lied to CPS on the regular to stay outta foster care. Mom was neglectful/abusive, we moved every year, etc. Each time Eminem releases a new album or spits a new freestyle, I can relate. This is a bond he has with so many of us and RARELY do you hear him talk about how he constructs the syntax of his words and paraphrase all of what he packs into each rhythm. Every line. And I love it! You captured pure gold , thank you. And thank you, Em/Marshall/Slim, for everything.

More reviews of Broken Record with Rick Rubin, Malcolm Gladwell, Bruce Headlam and Justin Richmond
If the first episode is any kind of indication on how the rest of the series will be, then I’m all ready hooked. King of Tears is my favorite episode from Malcolm’s other podcast (Revisionist History), so a whole podcast dealing in the same subject matter is gonna be a stunna.

Didn't know what I was getting into when I opened this, but what an intro with MM. Although far from his biggest fan, I think Mr. Gladwell has the hang of this podcasting stuff. Bravo.Read full review »
