Investigative journalism at its best.
Mr Thomas is to be congratulated for his work on the Lyn Simms (Dawson) case & the conviction that followed, and his most recent work on Bronwyn’s case. That such women would take off, leaving their children behind to ‘join a cult’ or ‘with some man’ as the partners suggested is preposterous, especially given the marital and other circumstances at the time. Hearing what everyone around both women said at the time only reinforces the arrogance of those claims - as if everyone else were fools. RIP Bronwyn & my condolences to her family,

What is it about Australian mothers that makes Police so keen to believe that they would abandon their kids so easily. Ask any mum !! It shows a lazy patriarchal force who were not interested in actually investigating a crime or even declaring it a crime. Shameful. But it’s not too late. Julie
