Bummer
I’ve loved HT’s previous podcasts and style of investigative journalism. I don’t feel Maddy has been a positive addition for this one- her tendency to make assumptions, state the obvious, present possibilities and opinions as certainties, and her somewhat immature vocab (“insane, crazy, weird”) gives it an amateur feel and reduces the credibility.

What is it about Australian mothers that makes Police so keen to believe that they would abandon their kids so easily. Ask any mum !! It shows a lazy patriarchal force who were not interested in actually investigating a crime or even declaring it a crime. Shameful. But it’s not too late. Julie

I hope that subsequent episodes are not 50% reference to the Chris Dawson case. I found it annoying and it looks like unfortunately there is very little evidence to investigate. Hoping it becomes more interesting
