“Another excellent podcast casting a light on the shameful dismissal by investigators of the disappearance of a woman who was by all accounts a devoted mum, friend, employee.
I’d like to think that in 2024 the abrupt disappearance of a woman with such close family and community ties would never be passed off as a voluntary departure to “have a break from the kids” or (god forbid) “find a sugar daddy”. It’s frightening that this was allowed to happen in such relatively recent times.
I must say I find the negative comments directed to Maddie in the reviews below really puzzling. They read like a series of unnecessarily personal attacks against a young woman who is undoubtedly reading these reviews, and are so similar it’s as though they’re written by one person with a grudge. No-one’s pulling Hedley up on his frequent allusions to his work for “The Austrayan”! Maddie sounds like any of my 21 year old daughter’s friends, and a pleasant, articulate and intelligent one at that. Thanks for your contribution Maddie!”
