Decent. Uneven. Entertaining
If you like opinion without much fact you will enjoy this Pod. Bucher, like his buddy Bill Simmons, knows how to get click, knows how to get, headlines, and knows that if you hate him and listen that is just as important as if you love him and listen. He will made broad, speculative statements to get your attention or tick you off. He gave up respectability as a reporter a long time ago, and by his own admission, will throw stuff out there that he never would have reported. Having said that, it is always entertaining and he has wisely chosen to surround himself with co hosts who will call each other other if they disagree (something his Buddy Simmons is never comfortable with). He does tend to use the expression “sold so-and-so ‘down the river’ “quite often. This is never a god look for a white man to make especially in reference to a man of color and it always makes me cringe when he says it. Hopefully someone will call him out on that at some point. In the meantime, if you can accept the imperfections you will enjoy the show.
