Completely unwilling to admit when he was wrong. Instead gives reasons that strain credulity. His coverage of last year’s finals was galling. Not because of his opinion but because he said things that were inaccurate and nonsensical.

Anthony Edwards edit — I wouldn’t but wonder if Ric would let his daughter date him. Considering he literally has been caught paying almost a million in “reproductive rights” for multiple women. Maybe that’s “Gen Z” or a failure of the previous “Gens”. #sendthevideo Short & sweet daily pod....Read full review »

Ric Bucher, your last two podcasts have been great. The NBA has been great, but your addition of NFL, Soccer and other current topics was great. Please continue to commentate on current topics of interest. Thanks

Please stick to almost EXCLUSIVELY NBA. I’d rather not listen to other sport topics and will likely skip those eps or portions of the show.

Always loved your measured approach to sports reporting. I definitely come to you for the researched, informative, and in-depth production you provide. But this was good for me. I liked hearing you less scripted and more candid today. I welcome this for cutting edge news that needs a reaction...Read full review »

some of the best, most considered and conscientious takes on the nba, it’s fandom, media and culture, offered up alongside a passionate, appealingly probing and refreshingly dialogical point-of-view and/or-departure. huzzah ric you are true jazzman.

Another great episode! Always appreciate your insight Mr. Bucher! Would love to get your thoughts on the bucks meltdown. Giannis with the free throws. Bud with the lack of adjustments at times. I loved Giannis’ quote about the bucks playing to win a championship vs Miami playing to beat the...Read full review »

Ric is one of the last remaining sports Talking Heads that things independently. His episode on the significance of LeBron passing Kareem was excellent. He brought up points that I keep screaming at my TV that no one seems to understand. I hope Ric continues to put out great content like that and...Read full review »

The guy has horribly bias opinions and always has a negative agenda. Don’t waste your time with this trash

Love your take. However, i think you may have missed a consideration in your analysis: Lebron might very well be aiming not particularly at the acquisition of a better supporting cast... it's the narrative that's important here. For that is the main stuff of legacy: forming the...Read full review »

Ric compared Trump to Hitler !!!! Ric you have gone too far on that one. You gave some reasoning , but Hitler was guilty of genocide. I think I have listened to my last Ric podcast. And, no…. I would not vote for Trump in 2024. Never , but I still can’t ever agree with the comparison Ric has...Read full review »

This guy is a simp for joe Biden and the democrats. It’s been 3 years and he’s still talking about how crazy Trump was. Dude no one cares what you think of the former president. Your a sports reporter, shut up and dribble.

Great podcast. Ric has seen more basketball than most of us. I appreciate the time you put into each episode. Keep up the great work. No doubt the best in the business!

Ric Bucher, is one of, if not the most, fair and balanced sports analysts out there apart when most of the suits have an angle. this podcast was mentioned on another podcast on youtube. immediately googled it and found it here. Will listen to back episodes.

I listen to a lot of basketball podcasts and this one has become one of my top five whenever they come out. Ric Bucher discusses in some detail what people outside of basketball couldn’t understand otherwise.

Listened to one episode and 10 minutes in it was all about Will Smith and January 6th. I’ll tune into CNN next time I want to hear that. I thought this was a basketball pod.

I have been listening for a few months and this is a great podcast. Ric Bucher does not have guests which is not a problem because he is so interesting. I learn so much about the NBA from him. Even if a topic has nothing to do with LeBron, he will somehow, someway nudge his name into it. This Oct 6 2021 regarding Kyrie Irving’s vaccine “hesitancy” has to be the single worst take of all-time. Hard to believe anybody can be this stupid. What’s next? Perhaps a dissertation defending Kyrie’s belief that the earth is flat? Unfollow this garbage.

Usually a fan of the Ringer NBA stuff, I think Ric's is distinct in a number of ways. Less opinions and more research. I'm learning a lot about how to analyse a situation from multiple angles, how to estimate what's likely and what's not in a story. Say, somebody says something...Read full review »

I’ve been a listener for the past few years including the old show title. I regularly listen to 10-15 different podcasts on the NBA. I love the format of this show , it’s only 18 to 20 minutes long but it’s so full of details and knowledge about the subject that Mr Bucker chooses to talk about that day.
