Philimlico+Plombierres 00 I1U2KOJI *****
Dear Philush Wangkstein and Pee Air So-Smelly, One of my favourite podcasts whose arrival each week I’ve eagerly awaited like a pedant greets the turtles head I work near a park And inspired by the constant dog walking procession wanted to curl out and wag my own little sepia tale but, for fear of plumbing the depths of repetitiousness, chickened out. Anysways, one child-rearing suburban summer’s morn, as a distant store forklift intermittently emitted its signature ode to sentience an oap, hunched of back, approached past the aisle of paints and guttering and, as a reflected cloud blew across her windows-to-the-soul gesturing with a nod, confided, “you might want to check that” and kept walking as over her shoulder my little cutie, first born child ran towards us, beckoning genially, so I’ve taken an interest and on turning the corner my second born also made his presence known and, perhaps in a nod of gratitude for the esteem in which he held my child rearing technique, seemed immensely proud, which I thought was very nice until I saw the bathroom display in which he had been taking a very particular interest only seconds before. There, in glorious bowl-flecknicolour, was the meal my erstwhile flatmate had fed ol’ second born, pull-up ignoramus, a mere 9 hours earlier. Either way the store attendant was less concerned than I’d expected but that only cemented the trauma koji x couple of wastrel brainiacs obsessed with the poorest timing of the most bodily of functions now, sadly revealing their paucity of intellectual ambition whenever western politics makes the news. These charmingly cheeky chappies now regurgitate the most meaningless platitudes about the intelligence and superiority of centrist politics while crucifying the inanity of the self-congratulatory bourgeoisie. It would be hilarious were not the omnipresence of centrist groupthink in U.K. comedy so nauseatingly creepy. Can’t wait for them to get back on track or perhaps spend a little time finding out a thing or (number) two before getting stuck into politics.

Very funny conversation. I enjoy the sketches as well. Only 4 stars because, well, I think I have 3 or 4 comedy podcasts that I think are better. But I still love this one!
