Every time I listen to an episode, I learned something new. Thanks!

Some great guests on the show, but unfortunately the presenter drags it down. Between adverts for sponsors, it’s a case of Kornel simply repeating what the guest says, before mentioning that he has paid off his mortgage and continuously repeating that he is financially independent. A real pity,...Read full review »

Just starting listening a month ago and with very little understanding of investing I’ve learned so much and opened a wealth simple account to dabble in investing. Definitely wanting to continue to learn. Thank you!

I like the podcast as it brings up very valid and beneficial topics as well as fantastic guests. In my opinion, one way I would improve it is for Kornel to let the guests talk more. I find the long winded questions and soapbox rants from Kornel take away from the podcast flow and I tend to turn...Read full review »

8/10 times great information. However I’m not sure if I am listening to an auction or horse race….. slow down! There are times I simply delete the download without finishing as you’re just going off the rails talking too fast or interrupting your guests.
Corbur70 via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 08/02/23
The guests are great and the topics are great. The focus on Canadian content is much needed. However, I feel a better focus on letting the guests talk with their expertise and knowledge instead on talking about Kornel and what Kornel has already done would help keep listeners interest.

Most podcasts would be about 20 minutes. However, he loves the sound of his own voice and he just keeps repeating himself.

I love the podcast, I especially loved the recent episode on the book 17 to millionaire. I have four teenagers in my house 13, 14, 15, 17. I just ordered the book on Amazon and I’m hoping to entice all of them to read it.

I’ve been listening to BWC for a few years now and I so wish I had this podcast years ago. This is a must listen for Canadians at any age as I guarantee you’ll learn something about money and investing.

Great job paying your house off at 29 🙄. How about providing pertinent details like how much your house was actually worth and what your mortgage was before bragging about being mortgage free. Plus- totally different ball game if you’re in a committed relationship or are single and doing...Read full review »

He sure likes talking! I got bored fast after listening to couple of his episodes
Hamidehsd via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 04/20/21
Started out as a decent podcast but got to around episode 30 and 8-10% of the podcast is the host talking up his sponsors or his own products. I could overlook his mediocre interview style of constantly interrupting but the 6+ minutes of talking about 5I research every episode has caused me to...Read full review »

Kornel...I’m late (at age 47) to the personal finance scene. I find the material relevant and inspiring. I’d love for you to feature an episode on all-in-one etfs. Thanks again Jodi

The show has great guests, but the presenter is terrible. Between pushing his courses and sponsors, and trying to follow up every guest comment by repeating their point and trying tying it to his own situation...he’s amateur at best. Pity - lost opportunity for some good Canadian content.

Bye
I left this podcast almost as soon as I started listening to it because he makes a lot of assumptions about listeners and therefore alienates members of the audience. For example, “pay off your mortgage at 29”, you are assuming that the listener is in their early 20’s? And proceed to poopoo...Read full review »

First 8-10 minutes of each episode are solely advertisements and/or self promotion for the host’s content. Guests are pretty good for the most part, but they often contradict the hosts opinion.
