Couldn’t stop binging once I started this podcast. It’s really well produced and the music is so apt. It’s important to remember though that this series talks about everything else “apart from the bhagwan and his followers”. Ironic, given that the series is about them! But this podcast talks...Read full review »

Having partly spent my childhood in the Poona ashram and Rajneeshpuram, I am extremely grateful to Rusty King for giving me such a well-researched retrospect of what actually went on behind the scenes. Unflinching, balanced, thoughtful and incredibly well told. Every episode leaves you with your...Read full review »

I binged this podcast - it was so interesting. I had never heard about this group before until the documentary appeared on Netflix, and I enjoyed the podcast more.

Loving this podcast. Such good storytelling and so much detail I wasn’t aware of, despite knowing this story well. Love the music and the neutral positioning too. The facts speak for themselves!

I lived in the communes in India and Rajneeshpuram - and was left with immense gratitude for the gift of it all. It was beautiful, crazy, ordinary, life-altering, and established deep friendships that have lasted a lifetime. AND.... I had a lot of lingering (and perhaps repressed) questions...Read full review »

As a granddaughter of a former sanyassin. This is AMazing!!! I just want more. And wish I could be alive at that time. What a great story teller. My Grama and grampa and mom lived in a commune In Minneapolis and traveled to the ranch several times. Super crazy stories

I am a podcast junkie, and this one is too-notch! The subject matter is fascinating, but the in-depth research and great production values make it exceptional. It’s an impressive project.

It’s a very clean and clear delivery and easy to understand. Soothing and good narration. Lot of research has been done and efforts made to collate and inform through the pod. Don’t understand why there are zero ratings. I give full marks!!

As a former resident of the Ranch, I feel that Rusty gets it just about right. I learned things from this podcast that I didn’t know- even though I lived there, and there’s still so much more to the story left untold. I would really love more episodes of this podcast. I can’t get enough. Rusty...Read full review »

Well researched and clear direct presentation. Incidentally the incidental music used is good and very well used, which is not always the case on podscasts.

Hopefully Rusty’s in a position one day to complete the series. Thanks Rusty!

This compelling catalogue weaves a collage of fragments together - neither adding nor subtracting from the sum of the research. As the quilt made of patched detail gleaned from disciplined research takes shape, the fabric of the Utopian dream frays and unravels, undressing Rajneesh’s seekers. The...Read full review »

Great podcast. It’s incredible how much information was left out of Netflix’s Wild, Wild Country. But the series suddenly ends without a conclusion. The host ends the last posted episode with promises to do more shows to finish the story...and then nothing. What happened?

If you found Netflix’s “Wild Wild Country” interesting, this is a must-listen. Lots of additional details and context. Very well done.

I’ve listened to a few other podcasts that featured the Rajneeshpuram/Bhagwan and this is by far the most enjoyable and most in depth podcast about the Rajneesh! Finished Wild Wild Country still left with a lot of questions so this is awesome. Thank you!

Everyone should listen. Rusty is an awesome storyteller! I can picture everything! It’s just perfect, right down to the music! From something I honestly knew nothing about, to learning everything in a sequence that’s easy to understand Highly recommend this series!

It did seem that the host was intent on painting Osho and his teachings as evil and weird. Having been to Pune and the ashram, and read some of Oshos work, I think this topic and lineage is more nuanced and interesting. For example, what about some anecdotes about people who found great benefit...Read full review »
