“I’m a big fan of the show and was excited to find this podcast. But just a few episodes in I am truly disappointed in the hosts lack of a female perspective. Quite a few times I hear the ladies described as “smoking hot” “crazy” “so annoying.” This oversimplified and dismissive point of view is crap. The women on this show are strong, resilient, and gritty. They are interesting and diverse and shouldn’t be reduced to a comment or two. While the male roles are dynamic and full of action and violence, the females on the show are more than relevant and deserve more thought. The writer of Peaky gave us 1920’s women in powerful roles like-law enforcement, union leaders, business partners, and family matriarch. Be more like Steven. ✌️”
