We dont hear enough of these complex, dynamic, historical lived lives and experiences. Not taking sides or dividing, just explaining how experiences shape people and the lives around them. Wonderful stuff

Shon Faye is a wonderfully kind, thoughtful and knowledgeable interviewer who gives her interviewees space and time to share their stories. Each episodes shines a light on an (often underrepresented) area of Queer Life/ History and gives a voice to a Queer Trailblazer.

Absolutely wonderful podcast, beautiful interview style, editing and music. Would love to hear interviews with Catherine Opie and Nan Goldin and more wonderful queers from all over the world. Thank you!

A powerful and fabulous podcast, sharing our queer history that isn’t held in school books 📚

Re: Donna Personna “…you were loved then, and you are loved now…” When she said that during the last two minutes of that podcast, my eyes simply welled up. Such a glorious feeling. I felt that love! Beautiful Podcast.

Beautifully made, fascinating interview based storytelling! Important bits of history that show how close we are in time and how similar we are to each other in the community. Grateful to find this and hope for more!

This podcast is an absolute must-listen for queer people of any age, but particularly millennial and Gen-Z queers looking to learn more about those who have fought so hard to create the landscape we enjoy today. Shon is a dream host and I’m crossing everything for a second season.

Shon - and her absolute joy of a voice and demeanour - and the producers really give the breathing space to the guests to truly tell their stories, which all come across as empathetic and human, despite the travails these heroic elders have been put through. I learned so much through this series...Read full review »

It’s so lovely to hear these things vocalised and I’m sure for newcomers in the industry, incredibly useful and reassuring. Enjoy your work and enjoy your process y’all xoxo

I’ve only listened to the first two so far but I can’t wait to hear the rest!! While succinct episodes, they manage to draw out and put together some deeply profound ideas and perspectives on queer and trans experience and I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to listen in and learn.

Queer community across generations has been something that I’ve been thinking about a lot over the last year but has ultimately felt inaccessible to properly address. This podcast has changed my mind on that and has made the gap between youth and LGBTQ+ elders feel much smaller.
