Funnier than a Life Day cooking show!
This is hands-down the best actual play tabletop RPG podcast I’ve ever listened to. I’ve been playing a lot of FFG’s Star Wars RPG lately, but that’s really not why I love this podcast. Actually, I usually listen to actual play to get a sense for how an unfamiliar system works, and on top of that these guys don’t even always represent the system perfectly (they’re still not completely over calling Threat “disadvantages”). Not a huge deal because most groups don’t play RPGs 100% by the book anyways. But I digress. What I really want to highlight is how amazingly entertaining these guys are. The story is great, and everyone on this show is a phenomenal roleplayer. They’re really, really adept in their characters’ skins. The show’s also hilarious; this stuff rivals some of my group’s funniest moments almost on a weekly basis despite the fact that I’m not even playing in their game. But I’m glad I’m given the chance to be an audience to it. There’s nothing like laughing hysterically to put you in a great mood on your commute to work.

From the first episode, I knew I was gonna love this. The guys play off each other so well, and Kat is a quick-witted and clever GM. A great story mixed with many, many laughs. Keep 'em coming!Read full review »

This is the long-form actual play podcast you've been waiting for. As well produced as it's sister podcast one shot, expertly run by Kat Murphy and played by an endlessly entertaining cast. I've only listened to the first episode, but I already know I'll be following this to the end.Read full review »
