“I honestly haven’t listened to Skyjacks in a while due to James D’Amato. The setting is really intricate and intriguing, and having it revolve around sky ships is such a great choice. The man cast are all very talented improv actors and are a ton of fun listening to. However, the show loses some of its luster due to the man running the game. As the show goes on, it feels like he becomes more and more controlling, removing player agency. He frequently asks, “describe what happens?” Listens to his players tell him what happens, only to say, “great, here’s what really happens”. Ignoring everything the players just told him. That, plus listening to some of their old Star Wars episodes and hearing how badly he treated that GM as a player really turned me off to the show.”
