Interesting subject, too many ads
The topic of this podcast is very interesting - campus-related crime and the legislation that comes from those events. Just yesterday my workplace received their annual Clery report (mandated by legislation related to an early episode of this pod). But there are far too many ads, and their tone is jarring and often too upbeat for the subject matter of this podcast. There were also frequent errors in the latest episode (Yeardley Love) - the hosts confusing UVA with West Virginia, misspoken years/dates, to name a couple.

I love these professors on their other podcasts - Direct Appeal and Women and Crime. I love this podcast and women and crime BUT I absolutely cannot stand the ads read by actors and the outro voice that sounds like a fake smile…ugh! Let Amy & Megan say all that stuff, get rid of the ridiculous beach body pyramid scheme ads and this will be a 5 star show.

In the Yardley case they use “toxic masculinity” as an explanation of cause. Knock it off!!
