Cookie Cutter True Crime
1. Inject race whenever possible (statistics are racist?) 2. Inject social issues whenever possible (everything is problematic) 3. Safe PC commentary that offers nothing new Not a bad podcast just more of the same worn out format that the majority of true crime podcasts follow now. Every host tries to be so safe it’s starting to feel like they’re all clones of each other.

I absolutely adore Amy & Megan’s critical analysis of cases and how this show in particular looks at cases I have never heard of before. This could be so good, because the stories are interesting, but the hosts ruin it. It’s obvious they’re reading everything and they’re not good at it. There’s no life to this podcast. A better host would make a big difference.
