Why this is at the top of the charts
Look, I'm not saying anyone's manipulating anything, I just think it's a little strange that the "top rated" podcast in both the politics/news category and one of the top podcasts in the whole store is one that (1) has -at the time off writing this- less than 100 reviews (2) only has like 2 episodes so far, and (3) lines up very neatly with the political views of Apple. Not only that, but I find it hard to believe that out of EVERY podcast available on this platform, the one people most want to listen to is a nakedly partisan podcast after a very exhausting and contentious election. I just hope Apple understands that those of us familiar with YouTube's recent funny business with their Trending tab will not appreciate the same tricks being implemented on their platform.Read full review »
