Both fascinating and frustrating
Good reporting, a cautionary tale. Was hard to listen to his mom though. She’s still in denial. She probably feels like she’s helping him, but full accountability is the first step. I hear a lot of excuses and victim blaming. Autism is something to take into account, yes. It’s NOT a reason people commit crimes though.

I have listened and enjoyed this podcast for years. With John Harris presenting it is even better. He gives good analysis and isn’t afraid to voice his own opinion which is refreshing.

Sirin Kale does a brilliant job with this series, she is thorough, thoughtful and has interviewed talking heads from every angle: the victims, his family, the police, medical experts. I binged it in 2 days and am busily recommending it to everyone.

Nice to see neuro divergence handled with sensitivity but yet again no understanding that someone can have autism and other things (ie co-morbidities).
