Great insight on investing in Canada
I have been a couch potato investor for more than 5 years. I love the simplicity and Dan presents the index investing strategy clearly and logically on his blog. So when he announced the podcast, I was curious to know what extra value it would bring to someone like me who is already committed to the strategy. But I was pleasantly surprised to find lots of great interviews with very seasoned investors who support index investing with tons of facts. The "ask the spud" segment is more practical application, where people like me get a question answered. Very useful information. If you have no idea what Index Investing is all about, give it a try. My stress levels are way lower now and my returns are much better. And given that many of us don't have defined benefit pensions to look forward to, every investing decision we make greatly impacts the quality of our "golden years". The podcast offers a lot of value and Dan posts links on his blog, which are greatly apprciated. And if you have any questions, email Dan -- he replied to my questions within a day with lots of great info.Read full review »

More reviews of Canadian Couch Potato
Of all the investment professionals and advisors I've encountered, I feel that Dan not only has the best understanding of how securities, risk, and investing work, but also the best ability to explain them logically and clearly.Read full review »

Overall a pretty good practical podcast but would be great if it included all Canadians, including advice for the tons of expats working overseas. Keep up the good work. Alex
