ALBERTA An elderly woman is found dead in her own home, the victim of a brutally violent attack in a typically sleepy community. At first it appears to be a robbery gone wrong, but further investigation reveals a complex web of lies — and a much more disturbing truth.  The intention of this episode is to take a detailed look back at a tragic crime that played out through the media and highlight the societal problems that contributed to it.
