The podcast has interesting content but the monotone reading/voice is so bland that i find myself drifting off or losing interest. The monotonous tone leaves one drifting. The way announcers like Keith Morrison or Andrea Canning tell the story keep people more engaged just by the way they move...Read full review »

This show is truly amazing. There are only three or four genuinely top tier true crime podcasts out there- including Casefile, and The Vanished- and this one has a similar feel to it, whilst also being a touch different. The cases she covers are also picked with purpose- you can tell. This is...Read full review »

This is an interesting podcast and I do like how thorough you are with your research. But I really do not like how long your commercials are or how long it takes to start the podcast. I would also like to say that the laws in Canada are a joke and that the criminal justice system and the...Read full review »

I have tried and tried but I cannot listen to the narrator any longer - monotone reading that is hard on ears and mind and not pronouncing words well. Yes it’s her accent but it is not the English I was raised on. Just being honest - stories are interesting

It’s a shame this occupies the top spot for Canadian true crime; a regional sub genre with a lot of interesting and unexplored cases. I first started listening within the first dozen episodes being released and stayed loyal as I enjoyed the narrator’s earnest and methodical style. Unfortunately...Read full review »

This is a great podcast the research seems to have been well sourced. Good voice good flow. But the amount of ads and ad breaks make it too hard to listen to hands free.

I am pleasantly surprised to find a podcast that sticks strictly to the facts of the cases that they review. The host is personable and the content is riveting. This is the best true crime podcast out there.

I've read a lot of the reviews for your podcast, that have some people so wound up, just typing the words "left", "liberal, and/or "woke", their underwear **have** to be bunched up in their arseholes by now. Thankfully there are some more moderate people/reviews, and I...Read full review »

This podcast is great and I love it. This podcast made me get into them and now I listen to podcasts all day everyday. My only complaint is that there is too many adds (I understand that how they make money), one suggestion is to change up ur adds. It seems as if all the adds are the same and...Read full review »

I noticed around episode 100 Kristi started doing relatively unimportant social activist cases to advance her own political agenda. It’s a shame really because her gift is storytelling, not influencing change via left wing politics. Very much a turn off for me. If I listen now, it’s repeats of...Read full review »

A well done Podcast. I’ve enjoyed it but when I had to skip the first 5 minutes of adds as well as listening to the host defend negative feed back I lost interest. I’ve tried. I just recently came across this podcast. The stories are well researched and hold your interest until the end. I love the way the host says the words “no/know” with her Aussie accent. 🦘The Mad Trapper episode was great! Time to say goodbye. It took a lot, as I really, really wanted to like the show. I have strong connections to the Canadian criminal justice system and Australia. I have listened to every single episode from Day 1 until the 2022 Darcy Allen Sheppard marathon. But that’s where it had to stop. Until...Read full review »

Kristi, I’ve listened to your show for the last year and always liked it, but your coverage of the Darcy Allen Sheppard case is amazing. I recently heard you say that you’ve been doing this podcast for 7.5 years and I couldn’t believe It had already been that long! I’m a long time listening and you’ve evolved a lot over that time. Definitely the longest I’ve followed a True crime podcast. Hooked since the beginning! Highly recommend!
