“This episode reminded me why there is a rift in the leftist community between white anti-capitalists and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color). The host’s critique/ explanation of Cardi and Megan’s WAP was so off the mark that I wondered if they have any interaction with younger generations at all. I also found Dr Fraad’s use of the n-word and quip about black Africans being so dark they’re purple to be HIGHLY problematic.
Overall I won’t be listening to this podcast anymore; which is upsetting because I enjoyed it up until this point. If you’re a BIPOC looking for critiques of capitalism, look elsewhere.”
