I love this woman! Her voice is soothing so learning from her is a pleasure! Exploring the intersection between Marxism / Critical Psychology / Feminism is exactly what I was looking for….we have to question our existence and the impact on mental health! This podcast and studying other cultures...Read full review »

Dr. Fraad’s deep understanding of both psychology and Marxist economics allows her to dispense a very accurate diagnosis to many of the problems that plague us all. I truly appreciate for thoughts and thank her for the time she spends putting her podcasts together.

I love Dr. Fraad. My husband and I refer to her as simply “Harriet,” as in “let’s see what Harriet has to say today,” and she’s become part of our weekly household discussion. I highly recommend for those who maybe don’t regularly participate in or understand discussions of this nature but are...Read full review »

Very informative but still fun to listen to! The connection of anti capitalism and psycho analysis is just something I find fascinating!

A very plain talk podcast. Listening will make you sharper and smarter.

Dr. Fraad is not the greatest speaker and with the addition of co host it’s gotten worse. They’re talking over each other. Also, Fraad needs to be more sex positive and realize sexual mores are ever evolving. Needs tutoring in speaking from Prof. Wolff, perhaps.

This was one of my favorite podcasts before Dr Fraad brought right wing loving moron Forlano on here. If you’re looking for rational thought and human decency, look elsewhere. Forlano is an authoritarian minded worthless piece of crap who doesn’t belong anywhere near leftist spaces.

I am not one to write reviews, but I have found myself in an extraordinary circumstance. I have been a loyal listener to this program for a year, more or less. I love what Dr. Fraad has to say. Her cohost, not so much. That was a bad addition, in my opinion. But that was fine, I was still...Read full review »

This episode reminded me why there is a rift in the leftist community between white anti-capitalists and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color). The host’s critique/ explanation of Cardi and Megan’s WAP was so off the mark that I wondered if they have any interaction with younger generations...Read full review »

Please Dr Fraad i want to believe you are better than this! I have been a fan of this podcast for over a year and you have taught me so much about the insidious ways capitalism teaches us to devalue ourselves, its really changed the way i see the world and im so grateful. Which just makes your...Read full review »

She makes it clear that the prevailing means of production is not as healthy for people as it should be

You are going to have to come up with a method of not interrupting each other so much it’s very aggravating. Why don’t you each have a hourglass timer that is set for one minute and each person will have their say in one minute so that you won’t be talking over each other so much.

Dr. Fraad has a way of thinking and a way with words that help you realize more than ever how much of a mess this country is in without it being misery porn or fear mongering. She is educational and confident, and you may start to feel more educated and confident yourself. It’s the first time in...Read full review »

I am so delighted that Dr. Fraad has started this podcast! I have heard her speak on Dr. Wolff’s Economic Update show many times in the past and she is incredibly insightful and simply amazing. (I have been an avid listener of Economic Update for years and love this brilliant podcast also!). Now,...Read full review »

Super pleased I can now listen to Dr Fraad weekly now rather than monthly as before on Democracy at Work. Her insight into, the effects of capitalism on people and society are so interesting and I’ve learned a lot. Fascinating stuff and highly recommended.
