Listen now
Description
In order to recruit into the Associate Degree Nursing program, the faculty at the community college developed a pilot program entitled: Camp S.C.R.U.B.S. (Students Can Reach Upward, Beyond the Stars) "Be a Nurse". The goal of this camp is to reach a target audience of rising juniors and seniors in high school in order to better prepare a post-high school cohort through dual enrollment. The nurse camp promotes the retention of academically prepared students who will graduate from the ADN program and pass the NCLEX to practice as registered nurses.
