“This has become one of my favorite podcasts ever! Carla and Brad are informative and their subjects well researched, yet they retain the lighthearted atmosphere of a couple pals at the bar nerding out over their favorite music.
I’ve been a krautrock fan for years (decades?) and continue to be amazed at their album selection. Choosing to focus on NEU!2 (my first krautrock album purchase in the 90s) over NEU! or NEU!75 or Harmonia’s “Deluxe” over the fan favorite debut really speaks to my personal preferences. I’m leaning quite a lot for a guy who considers himself pretty knowledgeable on the genre. The recent episode on Brainticket was a mind melting revelation!
Now, if I could just figure out the right jazz track to topple Brad’s “I don’t like jazz” wall, I would consider it a life achievement (cough cough, Door to the Cosmos, cough, Sun Ra)…

“The hosts know their stuff albeit the more mainstream artists. A little to much giggliness and asides for me but I enjoyed some parts. They really need to explore mid-70s Tangerine Dream (Rubycon, Ricochet, Cyclone. They are really missing out.)”
