I’m sixteen episodes in, and I really love this podcast. There’s a lot that makes it special, from the way in which the hosts’ understanding, love, and appreciation for the genre deepen with each episode, to their willingness to experiment with the form and scope of the discussions, to the...Read full review »

You really feel the love for the kosmische musik and they’ve got great chemistry. Well researched too!

Great podcast, takes me back, listening to my father’s album collection covering various experimental rock bands and electronic music. All of these artists you have covered in your podcast truly have influenced todays music scene! Keep up the good work Carla and Brad!

I so want to like this but the woman keeps on laughing at absolutely nothing. So freakin annoying. When they actually start talking about music it’s ok.

Carla and Brad make this genre very interesting. Pro-tip: enjoy the album first before they discuss it!

Thanks guys! I’m going through a big Kosmische/Krautrock phase, so this podcast is fun and informative. Keep up the vinyl updates too, always interesting to hear what people are buying and listening to! Any chance of an Ash Ra Tempel episode?

The hosts know their stuff albeit the more mainstream artists. A little to much giggliness and asides for me but I enjoyed some parts. They really need to explore mid-70s Tangerine Dream (Rubycon, Ricochet, Cyclone. They are really missing out.)

This has become one of my favorite podcasts ever! Carla and Brad are informative and their subjects well researched, yet they retain the lighthearted atmosphere of a couple pals at the bar nerding out over their favorite music. I’ve been a krautrock fan for years (decades?) and continue to be...Read full review »

Nice podcast. I’ve listened to Krautrock for many years now but great to listen to someone else’s thoughts on these classic records. It made me revisit a few albums I’d dismissed when I was younger so was really glad I found this. ….Thanks Carla and Brad ! …I think you do need to spend more time...Read full review »

I got into the genre not long before this podcast started airing, and I enjoy this program because the hosts don’t pretend or claim to be experts - they’re just big fans like anyone else! They’re exploring and learning about these bands and records as they go, to some degree, and it’s...Read full review »

Many of the albums reviewed here by Carla and Brad are ones that I’ve loved for many years now, but I’m enjoying hearing the hosts’ fresh perspectives and following their process of discovery. The research and context they provide for each album is great, and it definitely enriches each episode....Read full review »

Die beiden tauchen tief in die Alben ein und haben eine freundliche und humorvolle Perspektive. Macht Spaß.

This is a really fun podcast hosted by a couple of music nut friends whose chemistry and enthusiasm really carry the show. Doesn’t hurt that they’ve chosen a musical genre - krautrock - that is chronically underserved in the podcast space. If I were to offer some constructive criticism it would...Read full review »

This is a very good program by a couple of pals. It’s only two episodes in, but it already has shown that they listen a lot and do their research on the music. Keep on going! There’s a lot more German music to talk about. I cannot wait to hear what they think about Kluster (with a ‘K’). Danke!
