Already been better covered in other show
This take on an already-covered case in a more in-depth show doesn’t contribute much to the story. There’s too much editorialising and faux-outrage by the presenters, especially Perkins who, for an alleged comedian, comes across as a bit of a boring scold. Generally, too much ‘victim’ talk and too little detail on the cases and perpetrator. Superficial.

I’d followed this story on Tik Tok as I’d seen Carrie’s post re air B&B. I’d noticed her chats had become more fantastical over time. I’m surprised the ladies who brought this to the fore weren’t given a little credit. Hence the 3 stars.

Excellent thought provoking podcast - great dive in to the story of how a compulsive liar manipulated and deceived so many. Sue Perkins’ calm collected tone and viewpoints makes this a must listen for true crime aficionados.
